20th International Stirling Engine Conference
ISEC 2024
The 20th ISEC took place in Napoli from the 25th to 27th of June 2024. The Conference was chaired by Prof. Francesco Saverio Marra of Institute di Scienze e Tecnologie per l'energia e la Mobilità Sostenibili. The Conference will put together distinguished professors and researchers from industry and academia all over the world and aim at discussing the most recent advances on Stirling technology.

17th International Stirling Engine Conference
ISEC 2016
The 17th ISEC celebrated the Bicentennial Anniversary of Stirling Cycle. The Conference took place in Newcastle upon Tyne from the 24th to 26th of August 2016. The Conference was chaired by Prof. Khamid Mahkamov of University of Northumbria at Newcastle and it was the opportunity to bring together experts and interested parties from the wide mechanical and power engineering working on Stirling engine and its applications.

21th International Stirling Engine Conference
ISEC 2024
The 21th ISEC will take place in Pau, France from the 25th to 27th of August 2026. The Conference will be chaired by Prof. Pascal Stouffs, Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA).
The Conference will put together distinguished professors and researchers from industry and academia from all over the world and aims at discussing the most recent advances on Stirling and other kinds of “hot air engines” technology. All accepted and presented communications will be published in the 21st ISEC Open Access Proceedings and indexed by Scopus, etc. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit their manuscript for a Special Issue of ENERGY. Together with the Conference, an exhibition of industrial and model hot air engines will take place.
